Our vision at Waitara Genealogy is to create a positive future by learning the history of the past by encouraging participation of people from all walks of life, ages and diversity.

By developing and maintaining the Waitara History Project Group and Waitara Genealogy Branch Resource Library and holdings, we hope to assist everyone in the Waitara and wider community who is interested in genealogy to research their family history.

We offer the public our resource library, upheld to our best possible standard, as a shared asset and encourage everyone to utilise it for various needs, whether it be for educational or research purposes.

Our focal point is the community, and we value the input from its members. A warm welcome is extended to researchers, historians, students, Genealogists and anyone interested in Waitara history.
